Come join us for a GRiT Day Camp, where our community comes together and spend quality time focused on fun on mountain bikes, friendship, adventure, empowerment, group activities, inclusivity, and more! GRiT Day Camp is open to female student athletes, coaches and moms associated with our league at Cienega Picnic Site on the Sandia Mountains from 9:30-5:30 p.m.

The Turquoise Trail Campground is located 5 miles from the venue at Cienega Picnic Site. Make your reservations early.
9:30-10:00 – Registration / Check-In
10:00-10:30 – Welcome, Introductions & Teambuilding Activities
10:30-12 – On the Bike Activities (GRiT MOB, Trail Ride)
12/12:30-1:30 – Group Lunch
1:30 – Group Off the Bike Teambuilding Activities
2:30-4 – Choose Your Adventures:
- Session 1: On the Bike Activities (Adventure Ride, Trail Ride, Bike Games)
- Session 2: GRiT Dazzle – Spend some time with your new and returning friends creating GRiT swag

GRiT Mob
Are you a NICA mom who’s been wondering what all the fun is about? All NICA moms welcome, whether you’re newer to mountain biking or shredding the trails we’ll have something for you, including the GRiT MOB (Mom’s on Bikes).
The GRiT MOB session will be 10:30-12 during GRiT camp. It’s, great for new or interested female coaches (you don’t have to be a mom) will include the following:
- Bike skills intro & associated bike games
- Ride overview – What to expect, NICA practice structure
- Trail riding skills – trail etiquette, encountering other users, spacing, communication
- Short Trail Ride
