What’s GRiT Day Camp?
A day for the NM NICA GRiT (Girls Riding Together) community to come together for mountain biking, adventure, empowerment, and community building. The day includes trail riding, skill-building, and time to connect with an incredible community of riders.
Open to female student-athletes, coaches, and moms in our league. Non-NICA-aged children are welcome under parent/guardian supervision. Some activities may be accessible to younger children, but programming is intended for NICA participants.

New to NICA?
Join our NICA GRiT Give it a Go Session, a beginner-friendly intro to mountain biking and the GRiT community. Designed as an intro to NICA for girls 5th-12th grade. No experience needed. Bikes required.
Location & Camping
Cedro Peak Campground (outside of Albuquerque). Limited on-site camping available on Friday and Saturday night (one shared campsite reserved; tents welcome, limited RV space).
GRiT MOB (Moms on Bikes)
Whether you’re brand new to mountain biking or already love hitting the trails, this event is for you. Join the GRiT MOB (Moms on Bikes) for a supportive, fun introduction or skills progression session.

- Short guided ride

- 9:00 – Welcome & Icebreaker Activities
- 10:00 – On the Bike Sessions:
- Trail Rides

- GRiT Give It A Go (new riders who want to check us out)
- 12:30 – Lunch
- 1:30 – Community Building & GRiT Gear Creation
- 3:00 – Trail Rides, Bike Games
- 5:00 – Wrap-Up & Snacks
- Optional: Dinner hangout, overnight camping (limited).
