The day includes trail riding, skill-building, and time to connect with an incredible community of riders.\nOpen to female student-athletes, coaches, and moms in our league. Non-NICA-aged children are welcome under parent/guardian supervision. Designed as an intro to NICA for girls 5th-12th grade. No experience needed. Bikes required.\nLocation & Camping\nCedro Peak Campground (outside of Albuquerque). Limited on-site camping available on Friday and Saturday night (one shared campsite reserved; tents welcome, limited RV space).\nGRiT MOB (Moms on Bikes)\nWhether you’re brand new to mountain biking or already love hitting the trails, this event is for you. Join the GRiT MOB (Moms on Bikes) for a supportive, fun introduction or skills progression session.\n\nBike skills intro + fun drills\nNICA practice overview\nTrail etiquette, safety & communication\nShort guided ride\n\nTentative Schedule\n\n8:45 – Check-In\n9:00 – Welcome & Icebreaker Activities\n10:00 – On the Bike Sessions:\n\nTrail Rides\nGRiT MOB (Mom’s on Bikes)\nGRiT Give It A Go (new riders who want to check us out)\n\n\n12:30 – Lunch\n1:30 – Community Building & GRiT Gear Creation\n3:00 – Trail Rides, Bike Games\n5:00 – Wrap-Up & Snacks\nOptional: Dinner hangout, overnight camping (limited).\n\n
